A former Nicolet High School standout, and CUW baseball alumni, Joel has used Delta Sports Performance to launch himself into a professional baseball career.
After graduating college with an average fastball velocity of 87mph, Joel has used our combination of Keiser performance equipment and Driveline Baseball throwing protocols to raise his average fastball velocity to 92mph, topping out at 95mph.
He has had stints in the Frontier League with both the Schaumburg Boomers and Windy City Thunderbolts before spending the 2017 summer in the USPBL pitching for the Westside Woolly Mammoths.
Joel finished his outstanding rookie campaign in the USPBL with a 2.84 ERA, while only allowing 18 hits in the 21 games he appeared in. He continues to train at Delta Sports Performance in the offseason.
Now headed back to the USPBL in 2018, Joel made the "5 players to watch" list in the Detroit Free Press.
After completing a very successful career at Nicolet High School, Sam set her sights on playing collegiate softball. Although she was well into her senior year at the time, Sam trained at Delta with hopes of attending a Division I school.
After working with our hitting and throwing instructors, Sam attended many open camps for a variety of Big Ten programs, and accepted an opportunity to play at the University of Purdue.
In 2016, as a true freshman, Sam made 39 appearances, including 29 starts and played a stellar second base, fielding at an impressive .956 percentage. She returned to Delta this offseason to continue to improve, putting an emphasis on her hitting, using our new HitTrax technology.
